NEW Custom Rubber Molded Parts Produced Using Low Cost Tooling
Rubber Industries Provides Prototype And Production Quantities At Lower Part Cost

Shakopee, Minnesota: Rubber Industries offers both production and prototype quantities of high quality custom molded rubber parts using the same low cost tooling.
By using latest 27 ton Maplan Lab injection molding presses, Rubber Industries provides customers with low cost tooling yet provides prototype to production quantities at lower part prices compared to standard transfer or compression molding methods.
Rubber Industries has designed processes for these small tonnage presses that are ideal for small to medium size parts which are price sensitive, effected by time-to-market, candidates for near-future modification or elimination and have special mechanical requirements.

Utilizing 10.5 inch by 12 inch platens, the Rubber Industries systems have a 100 CC shot capacity and are very flexible in handling small to larger quantities, unlike larger tonnage presses dedicated to long runs requiring larger and more costly molds. An additional benefit is that Rubber Industries can engineer the tooling and material used for prototyping similar to what is used in final production, minimizing final part variations. The reason is that injection molding prototype tooling can be produced utilizing the same process as production tooling.
Standard or special elastomer formulations are available for these part projects. Rubber Industries has both the latest technical expertise and elastomeric chemistry to develop the correct elastomer formulation. The company will analyze material needs and recommend a standard formula, or with its in-house lab and mixing capabilities, develop a specific custom-formulated material that is compatible with performance, color and cost objectives.
In addition, Rubber Industries has complete capabilities for large volume production of custom molded rubber parts using injection, transfer and compression molding processes. Complete in-house cryogenic deflashing capabilities combined with special packaging and assembly capabilities make Rubber Industries a full service rubber molding source.
